Controlling your bath with the app

The easiest way to control your bath is using the Brass Monkey app

Download the app: brassmonkey.co.uk/app

Connecting your bath to the app

Once you've downloaded the app, follow the steps to add your bath. You'll need to access QR code shown in the compartment area for this.

To control your bath via the app, it will need to be connected to wifi. You'll be guided through how to do this in the setup steps on the app.

Changing the temperature

Use the main dial to set the target temperature. The centre of there dial shows the target temperature and underneath the current temperature of your bath. If the target temperature is lower than the current temperature, the bath will start cooling. When it reaches temperature the dial with display Ready and stop cooling.

Starting a dip session

When you wish to dip, simply hit Start Dip. This will turn off the pump and turn on the light in your bath for 15 minutes. 1 minute before the dip session ends the lights will begin to flash to let you know the pump is coming back on. While in a dip session the app will display Ready to dip.

NB. If when starting a dip session the light in your bath starts flashing, this means due to the low water temperature there your bath has automatically started a 'defrost' to release any stuck ice. This will take 7-8 minutes. After this the light will stay on and your 15 minute session window will begin.

Setting a schedule

Setting a schedule to enjoy a dip at the temperature you like on the day and time of your choosing. Using scheduling also means only using energy to cool its needed.
