Connect your bath to your water and waste supply for ease of filling and draining the bath.
This article refers to models that have the add on "Plumbing handover connection points" If your bath does not have this feature, speak to our team about an upgrade.
You will require a competent plumber to fit water and waste connection points.
Prior to the bath arriving
Firstly, decide on the final location of the bath. Bear in mind the seating position in the bath and where you would like to be facing when you are thinking about the installation of the unit. As the illustration below shows - you would usually enter the bath from the seated area and face away from it.
Once you have decided on this, you will then need to seek a competent plumber to fit the connections in the correct area.
Your plumber will need to provide the waste and water connection points in the location as shown on the diagram below.
Instructions on installing the fittings:
- Provide a 15mm water feed pipe or hosepipe up to 200mm in length which can then be cut down to size on bath arrival when ready to connect the pipes.
- Provide a 32mm solvent weld waste pipe with straight joint or slip socket up to 200mm in length ready to be joined to the waste pipe on the bath
When the baths arrives, the unit will be placed over the top of these fittings to meet the connections through the hole that is provided on the base of the ice bath.
Your competent plumber will then be able to connect the water and waste feeds accordingly.
