How to get the PRO Plunge up and running

This guidance is for: PRO Grade models shipped after March '24 which are identifiable by the filtration type. Your PRO grade unit will have a 20" filter and a twistiiclean backwash.
For PRO Models shipped before March '24 - head over to the guidance here.

Safety first

  • Leave the bath unplugged until the setup is complete and you are instructed to power up.
  • The power supply must be earthed and RCD protected.

1. Placement & Connection:

Placement

Before commencing setup, check you have your bath in the correct position:

Surface: Your plunge is heavy, especially when full of water. It needs to be sat on a hard, flat surface capable of handling water

Ventilation: Your plunge requires ventilation. Sit 30cm clear of any obstruction on all side

Access: One end of the plunge has a door to access the compartment area. We recommend leaving 90cm from any obstruction to ensure access to the compartment to undertake regular maintenance.

Water: Your bath will need filling with fresh tap water (never fill from a swimming pool or other water source), so make sure your bath is placed where it can be connected to fresh water, as well as to waste.

Signal: Your bath comes ready to be connected to your Wifi network. It will need to sit within range of a strong 2.4Ghz Wifi signal. Consult your IT provider if unsure about your wifi network.

Power connection

The bath has been individually tested for safety before leaving our workshop. However, we can’t account for where the units are plugged in. Ensure a qualified electrician connects to a power circuit with:

  • an earthed electrical supply
  • 30mA RCD (residual current device) protection

Plumbing connections

Inside the compartment area of the bath are 2 points for plumbing:

  • The fill connection, for your plumber to connect to a fresh water source
  • The drain connection, for you plumber to connect to waste

Wifi connection

Complete the setup steps to install the filter and fill with water. Once then powered up, download the Brass Monkey app, ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone, then follow the steps in the app to connect your plunge to a private 2.4GHz network.
